God's faithfulness through the mountains and valleys
In July of 2009, I made the decision to go public for Jesus Christ. The excitement of this decision was short-lived as Satan began to attack our family using his methods of jealousy, lies, and anger.
On September 19, 2010, I went Public for Jesus Christ.
Then in October 2010, Satan attacked again.
His methods were the same. He used jealousy, lies, and anger to deceive family members. One-by-one our lives were stripped by the presence of people that we loved.
It was almost like I could hear Satan saying to me "where is your God now? Why is he putting you through this if he loves you so much?"
The Holy Spirit reminded me of Job. The bible says that Satan tried to convince Job to curse God; deny him, but Job stood firm. Despite the fact that he had lost everything: his family, belongings, and health. HE still would not curse/deny God.
I knew that if I had an chance of surviving this storm, I had to surrond myself with GOD.
Then God showed me a path. A mission trip to Belize and an opportunity to serve in the church. I remember making my own little box on the Connection Card (from church) and submitting it. My request was for more information. Later that week, I received a phone call from the youth director. God's plan was in motion.
In Decemeber, Jason and I found ourselves in another valley: financial. In a situation where we could have possibly lost everything, we lost nothing. The details are not important. What I want you to remember when you leave this blog is that GOD PROVIDED!!! All of our needs were met and it was ONLY by his wonderous and merciful hand.
More importantly than the financial aspect of his miracles was the fact that our family began to heal as God returned one of the greatest blessing in our lives to us: Cameron.
The next couple of months were filled with work, University of Phoenix, finding out that the important things in life are a relationship with God and family. God's blessings continued to flow and his grace was often very overwhelming.
Oh! How is loves us!
In July of 2011, Satan was defeated.
The bond between Jason and I became stronger, Cameron came to live with us; permantley, and I was on my way to Belize..... to be Forever Changed!
However, as I will say until the Lord brings me home; MY GOD IS GREATER.
Together, Jason and I made it though the first valley. On September 19, 2010, I went Public for Jesus Christ.
